These gorgeous cryptids are illustrated by Julian Farmar-Bowers just for Pretty Snake! All of your friends are here: Sasquatch, Bat Boy, Abominable Snowman, Mothman, Loch Ness Monster, Thunder Bird, Death Worm, Chupacabra, Gremlin, Alien, Swamp Monster, Jersey Devil, Thylacine and Wendigo. Plus Arachne, one of my favorite mythological creatures! The chest measurements below are taken flat 1” below the armpit. Pretty Snake is designed by artist, fashion and textile designer Joseph Aaron Segal. Joe is obsessed with the unusual and oddities and combines those interests with a fascination of textile techniques. Pretty Snake is an evolving collection creating a "Closet of Curiosities" for all to enjoy. Pretty Snake was officially established in 2009 when Joe created the infamous Crazy Kitty Sweater featuring a shadowy tower of black cats embellished with kitty eyes. As a textile designer, Joe creates all the prints, knits and textiles exclusively for Pretty Snake. You may recognize Joe from being a contestant on Project Runway Season 11, but you may have also seen his work without even knowing it. He creates knits for fellow designers, musicians, tv series and movies. When Joe is not designing and managing Pretty Snake, he teaches textile design at Rhode Island School of Design.
